The alphabet for children and toddlers is crucial because it helps them quickly learn letters and sounds, paving the way for swift reading skills. Our game includes two voiceovers: one for sounds and another for letters in Russian.

This alphabet game is perfect for young children. The ideal age for learning the alphabet ranges from 4 to 6 years old, although gifted children can start as early as 3, with the optimal age being 5, the year before they begin school.

It's best to begin learning with vowels: A, O, U, Y, I, E, Yo, E, Yu, Ya (there are 10 of them). These are easy to pronounce, making it simpler for your child to learn. Initially, there are 6 vowel sounds: A, O, U, Y, I, E, and then 4 vowel letters formed by merging two sounds: E = Y + O; E = Y + E; Yu = Y + U; Ya = Y + A. Vowels can also be categorized as having or not having a "soft sign" (ь).

The next step involves consonants: B, V, G, D, Zh, Z, J, K, L, M, N, P, R, S, T, F, X, Ts, Ch, Sh, Shch (there are 21 of them), along with 2 auxiliary letters Ъ and Ь. The Russian alphabet comprises 33 letters in total.
