Introducing the Comprehensive Quran App (Electronic Mosshaf) from the KSU-Electronic Mosshaf project, designed to enrich your spiritual journey with a host of unique features. This app offers a seamless experience for those seeking to engage deeply with the Quran.
One of the standout features is the ability to view scanned (soft) copies of real printed Mosshafs. Users can access the Mosshaf Al-Madina, the Mosshaf Al-Tajweed (colored according to Tajweed rules), and the Mosshaf Warsh (Rewayat Warsh An-Nafei'). This allows for a more authentic reading experience, tailored to different preferences and learning styles.
The app also includes Al Quran recitations by many renowned reciters, with two specifically following the Rewayat Warsh an-Nafei'. Users can repeat each Aya as many times as desired, with customizable time intervals in between, facilitating memorization and deeper understanding.
For those looking to explore the Quran further, the app offers a robust search function through the Quran text, and direct browsing capabilities by Sura/Aya (Chapter/Verse), Juz (Part), or Page number. This makes navigation intuitive and efficient.
To aid in comprehension, the app provides six Arabic Tafsir (Commentary): Al-Saa'di, Ibn-Katheer, Al-Baghawy, Al-Qortoby, Al-Tabary, and Al-Waseet, along with one English Tafsir, "Tafheem Al-Quran by Al-Maududi." Additionally, E'rab (Grammar) of the Quran by Qasim Da'aas is included for those interested in linguistic analysis.
The app supports text translation of the Quran's meanings in over 20 languages, and voice translation in English and Urdu, making it accessible to a global audience. The synchronization feature highlights the Aya on the page as it is recited, and also syncs the recitation with the voice translation, enhancing the learning experience.
The user interface is available in both Arabic and English, ensuring ease of use for a diverse user base. For a live preview of the app, visit http://quran.ksu.edu.sa.
