Drawing inspiration from the eerie and outdated educational games of the 90s, Baldi’s Basics is a surreal, meta horror experience that leans into its absurdity—offering no real educational value whatsoever. Your mission? Collect seven notebooks scattered throughout the school and make your escape. Sounds simple enough—until you realize just how tricky it really is! Avoiding Baldi becomes your top priority, and mastering the game's mechanics is the only way to survive.

Learning how to manipulate Baldi’s friends to your advantage, carefully managing the items you find, and memorizing the layout of the school are all essential skills for victory!

The game offers two distinct modes to keep things interesting:

• Story Mode: In this mode, your objective is to locate all seven notebooks and then escape the school. However, each notebook you collect causes Baldi to run faster—making the final stages especially intense and difficult.

• Endless Mode: Here, the challenge is to gather as many notebooks as possible before Baldi catches you. While Baldi gradually speeds up over time, solving problems in the notebooks will temporarily slow him down. The better you are at keeping his speed in check, the more notebooks you’ll be able to collect!
