Call Break: Card Master is a delightful and memorable classic card game that brings joy to players around the globe. This awesome trick-taking game, also known by various names such as ghochi, call-bridge, Lakdi/Lakadi, and tash, is deeply rooted in strategic gameplay. It's played by four players with a standard 52-card deck, akin to spades, where spades are always the trump card according to the call break rules. Players must engage in bidding to call their scores and utilize trumps effectively, making it a game that anyone can enjoy, anytime and anywhere.
In Call Break: Card Master, the game is set for four players. The initial dealer can be anyone or decided by drawing a card from the deck. The dealing then proceeds to the right in subsequent rounds, and cards are distributed anticlockwise. Each player receives 13 cards, and after picking them up, they call their expected winnable hands. The game follows stable rules where players must collect call points and aim to win more tricks than their called hands. Spades, as the trump cards, dominate the game. In each trick, players must follow the suit led; if unable, they must play a trump card or any card if they have no trumps. Winning a trick requires playing the highest card of the led suit or a trump card. The winner of a trick leads the next, and players scoring at least as many tricks as their bid earn points equivalent to their bid. The game spans five rounds, with the highest scorer at the end declared the winner, alongside runner-ups.
