The state of Uttar Pradesh has launched an innovative initiative to streamline public health service management with the introduction of eKavach, a Comprehensive Primary Health Care (CPHC) application. Designed for use by ASHA workers, ANM, ASHA Sangini, and Community Health Officers (CHOs), eKavach is built on Argusoft's Open Source and DPG Certified platform, MEDPlat. This robust application facilitates a comprehensive workflow and efficient referral system covering critical health areas such as Family Folder, Reproductive, Maternal, Newborn, Child and Adolescent Health (RMCH+), Non-Communicable Diseases (NCD), Nutrition, and other essential health services.
