If you're a fan of YAHTZEE, you'll find Five Dice to be an exciting alternative that captures the essence of dice games like Yachty, Yatzy, and others. With its close adherence to YAHTZEE rules, Five Dice offers a simple yet engaging interface perfect for those moments when you need a quick distraction or have some downtime.
FEATURES:
Maximize your score by playing strategically or take risks to achieve multiple Five Dices!
TRADITIONAL GAME MODE:
This mode closely mirrors YAHTZEE. Each game consists of 13 turns with up to 3 rolls per turn. Aim to roll at least 3 of a kind in the left scoring categories to earn maximum points. Scoring 63 points or more on the left side earns a 35-point bonus. On the right, score in categories like 3 of a Kind, 4 of a Kind, Full House, Small Straight, Large Straight, Five Dice, and Chance. Your first Five Dice scores 50 points, with each subsequent one adding a 100-point bonus. Traditional mode features its own leaderboard.
SEQUENTIAL GAME MODE:
In Sequential mode, you must follow a specific scoring order: 1's to 6's on the left, followed by 3 of a Kind to Chance on the right. Categories are initially grayed out and only become available after your first roll each turn. A rolled Five Dice can be scored immediately, but the sequence resumes on the next turn. Additional Five Dices earn a 100-point bonus. This mode also has its own leaderboard.
RUSSIAN ROULETTE GAME MODE:
With just one roll per turn, you must assign a score, even if it's a zero. Devise a strategy to maximize your score in this high-stakes mode, which has its own leaderboard.
PLUS GAME MODE:
In Plus mode, unused rolls from one turn carry over to the next. If you use only 2 rolls in a turn, you'll have 4 rolls in the next, and so on. This mode challenges you to manage your rolls effectively and comes with its own leaderboard.
SCORING:
After each roll, valid scores are highlighted in yellow, making it easy to decide where to allocate points. You have 13 turns with 3 rolls each. Choose which dice to keep by tapping them, and the remaining will be re-rolled. At the end of each set of rolls, assign your score before moving on. The first Five Dice earns 50 points, with each subsequent one adding a 100-point bonus. Scoring 63 or more on the left side of the scorecard grants a 35-point bonus.
