The FreeStyle LibreLink app is approved for use with both the FreeStyle Libre and FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors, offering a convenient way to monitor your glucose levels directly from your smartphone. With the FreeStyle Libre 2 sensor, you can benefit from automatic glucose readings updated every minute and receive alerts for low or high blood sugar levels.

Using the FreeStyle LibreLink app, you can:

• View your current glucose result, trend arrow, and glucose history
• Receive low or high glucose alarms with FreeStyle Libre 2 sensors
• Access reports, such as time spent in target range and daily trends
• Share your data with your doctor and family, with your consent

Using Your App and Reader with the Same Sensor

Alarms can be issued on either your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader or your phone, but not both simultaneously. To receive alarms on your phone, you must start the sensor with the app. Conversely, to receive alarms on the reader, you need to start the sensor with your FreeStyle Libre 2 reader. After starting the sensor with the reader, you can still scan it with your phone.

Remember, the application and the reader do not share data with each other. To ensure comprehensive data collection, scan your sensor every 8 hours with the device you are using. Without regular scans, your reports may not reflect all the data. You can upload and view data from all your devices on LibreView.com.
