Hibou is crafted to enhance your safety while fostering social connections, drawing on 20 years of expertise in lone worker technology and healthcare services. Born from a passion for living life fully, Hibou ensures your safety and keeps your family in the loop. When you step out for any activity, you can easily check-in, letting your loved ones know you're safe and sound.

Leveraging GPS technology and integrated timers, Hibou empowers you to enjoy your favorite activities without a worry in the world. Whether you're scaling your local mountain, hitting the slopes for an afternoon of skiing, or embarking on a global adventure, Hibou supports you every step of the way. Just hit the activity button in the app, set a timer for the duration of your outing (up to 24 hours), and focus on your activity. Once you're back safe and sound, simply end the timer. If your timer runs out before you're back, you can easily extend it with a button press.

In situations where you're in distress and unable to seek help, Hibou has you covered. Once your timer expires, your pre-selected contacts will receive notifications with your last known location, ensuring help reaches you promptly.

Hibou also offers a daily automated wellness check service, giving your loved ones peace of mind. At scheduled times once or twice a day, you'll report your status through the app, website, or phone system. If you miss a check-in, you'll receive reminders via app notifications, emails, and phone calls. After a grace period and additional reminders, your circle members will be alerted if you still haven't reported.

For immediate assistance, Hibou features a help button. Pressing it sends an instant notification and your GPS location to your contact list. While 9-1-1 is crucial in emergencies, sometimes notifying your family and friends for help is the best course of action.
