Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 Simplifies Camo Progression with New Tracking Feature

Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 Season 2 launched today, introducing a game-changing feature that streamlines camo progression: Camo Challenge Tracking. This handy tool significantly reduces the grind, making the pursuit of Dark Matter, Nebula, and 100 Percenter significantly easier.

The Camo Challenge Tracker allows players to manually select up to 10 camo and 10 calling card challenges for active tracking. Progress is readily accessible in-game, eliminating the need to constantly check the main menu. The system also proactively notifies players of nearing completion for any challenge, even those not actively tracked.

Tracking Your Progress in Black Ops 6

To add a challenge to your tracker, navigate to the desired camo or calling card challenge and press Y (Xbox) or Triangle (PlayStation). This allows you to monitor progress during matches, streamlining the path to unlocking new camos.

The game intelligently populates the tracker with challenges nearing completion, even if not manually selected. This information is also conveniently accessible in the Daily Challenges section of the Black Ops 6 lobby, providing a comprehensive overview of near-complete camos and calling cards.

Season 2 also simplifies camo unlocking. Previously, unlocking special camos required nine preceding military camos. This requirement has been reduced to five, making the process more manageable. However, two special camos are still needed to unlock mastery camos.

This update directly addresses player feedback regarding the overwhelming number of camos and the difficulty of tracking progress. Treyarch has clearly listened to the community, implementing improvements to enhance the overall Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 experience.
