Diablo 4 Season 5: Unveiling Consumable Additions

Diablo IV Season 5 Leaked: New Consumables and Infernal Hordes Mode Unveiled!

Exciting news for Diablo IV players! Data mined from this week's Season 5 Public Test Realm (PTR) reveals the addition of four brand new consumables, exclusively for the upcoming Infernal Hordes endgame mode. This roguelite-style challenge pits players against escalating waves of enemies, offering a thrilling new way to test their skills.

These consumables, designed to enhance gameplay within Infernal Hordes, are:

  • Antipathy: A rare anointment boosting resistance.
  • Blackblood: A common anointment improving a random core stat.
  • Vitriol: A magical anointment increasing damage over time.
  • Triune Anointment Cache: A new cache containing anointments, rare gear, and crafting materials.

Intriguingly, recipes for these anointments have also been discovered, suggesting crafting will play a key role. While details on acquisition methods, usage costs, and crafting materials remain scarce, the PTR, open until July 2nd, promises to shed further light on these mysterious additions.

The Infernal Hordes mode itself introduces a new layer of strategic depth. Each 90-second wave is followed by a choice of three modifiers impacting subsequent encounters. Naturally, greater difficulty translates to more rewarding loot. Abyssal Scrolls, similar to Helltide's Profane Mindcage Elixir, will be available to further ramp up the challenge.

The PTR is currently live, offering players the chance to experience these new features firsthand and uncover more information before Season 5's official launch. Stay tuned for further updates!
