Game Awards 2024 Announces GOTY Nominees

The Game Awards 2024, hosted by Geoff Keighley, unveiled its nominees across 19 categories, culminating in the coveted Game of the Year (GOTY) award. Final Fantasy VII Rebirth leads with seven nominations.

Competing for GOTY are Astro Bot, Balatro, Black Myth: Wukong, Metaphor: ReFantazio, Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree, and the critically acclaimed Final Fantasy VII Rebirth. The nomination of Elden Ring: Shadow of the Erdtree has sparked considerable debate within the gaming community. Voting is open until December 11th via The Game Awards' official website and Discord server.

The awards ceremony, airing live on December 12th from the Peacock Theater in Los Angeles, will be streamed across various platforms including Twitch, YouTube, TikTok, and the official Game Awards website.
