Marvel's upcoming crossover event pits Godzilla against the iconic Spider-Man! IGN exclusively reveals Godzilla vs. Spider-Man #1, the third installment in a series of one-shot specials.

Following Godzilla vs. Fantastic Four #1 and Godzilla vs. Hulk #1, this issue transports readers back to a post-1984 Secret Wars era. Peter Parker, newly bonded with the alien symbiote, faces his greatest challenge yet: a rampaging Godzilla.

Written by Joe Kelly (the upcoming Amazing Spider-Man relaunch), and illustrated by Nick Bradshaw (with cover art by Bradshaw, Lee Garbett, and Greg Land), this comic promises a thrilling clash of titans.

Kelly states, "This book is a chance to go wild with two iconic characters, capturing the 80s vibe. Nick Bradshaw perfectly balances the absurdity with the gravitas deserved by Godzilla and Spidey (in his now-classic black suit!)."

Unlike DC's Justice League vs. Godzilla vs. Kong, this series features Toho's classic Godzilla. This announcement follows IDW's Godzilla vs. Los Angeles #1, a wildfire relief charity anthology.
