Warhorse Studios continues to unveil new facets of Kingdom Come Deliverance 2, focusing this time on the immersive village activities awaiting players. Protagonist Henry will engage in a variety of everyday tasks, including drinking, shepherding sheep, archery (both crossbow and bow), prayer, hunting, and assisting villagers with their problems – such as procuring antidotes for the injured.

The game's February 4, 2025 release date remains unchanged. However, recent events have cast a shadow over the development. Following the discovery of subpoenas within the game's code, activists launched a campaign to cancel Kingdom Come Deliverance 2. Figures like Grummz, labeled as "agenda-driven" by some, have amplified this controversy.

The controversy intensified after news of a Saudi Arabian ban on KCD 2 spread online, fueling speculation about the game's content and alleged inclusion of "progressive" themes. This led to online attacks against the developers, with calls for cancellation and boycotts of future projects.
