Korean Sims-Like "inZOI" Postponed to 2025

Krafton's highly anticipated life simulator, inZOI, has been pushed back to March 28, 2025, to ensure a robust and polished launch. Director Hyungjin "Kjun" Kim announced the delay on the game's Discord server, explaining that the extra development time will solidify the game's foundation.

Kim likened the extended development process to raising a child, emphasizing the commitment to delivering a complete experience. Positive player feedback from character creator demos and playtests significantly influenced this decision, highlighting the team's dedication to incorporating player input. The delay, while disappointing for some, underscores Krafton's commitment to quality.

The postponement, announced after the character creator demo's impressive 18,657 concurrent player peak, aims to prevent releasing an unfinished product, particularly in light of Life By You's cancellation earlier this year. This strategic move, however, places inZOI in direct competition with Paralives, another life simulator slated for a 2025 release.

Despite the extended wait, Krafton assures fans that the improved game will offer an immersive experience with unparalleled customization and realistic graphics. inZOI aims to surpass its Sims-like competitors, creating a unique niche within the life simulation genre. The enhanced development time promises a title worthy of the anticipation, offering players a compelling experience for years to come, whether managing virtual work stress or enjoying karaoke nights with friends. Stay tuned for further updates regarding inZOI's release.
