EVO 2025 Marks First Public Demo

The first hands-on demo for MARVEL Tōkon: Fighting Souls will be available at EVO 2025 from August 1-3 at the Las Vegas Convention Center West Hall. Arc System Works will showcase this eagerly awaited tag-team fighter at their booth.

In a July 22 PlayStation.blog announcement, PlayStation XDEV Senior Producer Reed Baird revealed key details about the public demo. Players can try out six characters—Captain America, Iron Man, Storm, Star-Lord, Ms. Marvel, and Doctor Doom—and assemble their ideal 4-member team.

The demo also includes the New York City battle arena, previously featured in the game's debut trailer. Attendees who test the game will receive an exclusive commemorative pin.

Developer Panel Offers Exclusive Gameplay Insights

Arc System Works and Marvel Games will host a Developer Combat Panel on August 1 at 8:00 PM PT on the Evo Showcase Stage, diving deeper into the game's core mechanics.

The panel will be streamed live on EVO Events' YouTube channel. Director Kazuto "Pachi" Sekine expressed gratitude for fans' enthusiasm since the game's reveal and encouraged viewers to watch for new details.

"We aim to 'Assemble' with players to craft something extraordinary," Sekine shared. "With innovative approaches delivering fresh experiences, we're excited to hear your reactions."

The game captured immediate attention during June 2025's PlayStation State of Play with its revolutionary 4v4 system, developed by a top-tier fighting game studio using Marvel's beloved franchise.
