Rev up your engines and prepare your crew. Wizards of the Coast draws inspiration from the high-octane world of professional racing for the latest Magic: The Gathering expansion, Aetherdrift. With an aesthetic reminiscent of Tron, Aetherdrift introduces a host of artifact vehicles alongside two new mechanics: "Speed" and "Exhaust." This new expansion is also a multiversal event, weaving together existing Magic planes as a "Death Race" tears through Avishkar, Amonkhet, and Muraganda.
As with any trading card game, I strongly advise visiting your local game store for booster packs and event-exclusive items like Prerelease Sets. If you're new to Magic, it's also the perfect place to ask questions and discover expansions and game modes that might interest you.
That said, for those seeking bulk purchases, major retailers have you covered. Releasing on February 14, here is everything available for preorder from the MTG Aetherdrift expansion:

If you'd like more detailed guidance, I have a breakdown of what's included in each Aetherdrift product below.
You have two primary choices for purchasing Aetherdrift boosters in bulk: a Play Booster Box containing 30 Play Booster Packs, or the more premium Collector Booster Box with 12 Collector Booster Packs. Both Booster Box variants include special foil "Box Topper" cards.

12 Aetherdrift Collector Boosters, each with 15 MTG cards + a 2-card Box Topper $299.98 save 9% $272.99 at Amazon
30 Aetherdrift Play Boosters, each with 14 MTG cards and 1 Token or Art card + a 2-card Box Topper $159.93 save 10% $144.44 at Amazon
If your goal is to quickly amass cards for a new or upgraded deck, Play Boosters are the ideal choice. However, it's worth noting that previous Play Booster Boxes for recent expansions like Duskmourn contained 36 boosters, not just 30. If you're willing to invest more for alternate art and Mythic foils, I certainly understand the appeal of the Collector Box. We've all been there.
The Aetherdrift MTG expansion launches with two preconstructed Commander Decks, both available for preorder now. Commander Decks are ready-to-play for the popular Commander format, which has gained traction partly because it supports more than two players. These decks offer a cost-effective way to acquire 100 cards you can use immediately, making them an excellent entry point for Magic newcomers. Each preconstructed deck guarantees a foil commander and a synergistic set of cards. For added value, these decks also include a Collector Booster Sample Pack.

1 ready-to-play Living Energy Aetherdrift MTG Commander Deck (100 cards), a 2-card Collector Booster Sample Pack, 10 double-sided tokens, and 1 deck box $45.94 at Amazon
1 ready-to-play Eternal Might Aetherdrift MTG Commander Deck (100 cards), a 2-card Collector Booster Sample Pack, 10 double-sided tokens, and 1 deck box $47.99 at Amazon
The first Aetherdrift Commander is Saheeli, Radiant Creator, a Human Artificer leading a Red/Green/Blue Energy-focused deck aptly named "Living Energy." The second Commander is Temmet, Naktamun's Will, heading a Black/Blue/White deck with a zombie theme called "Eternal Might." Preorders for both Commander Decks are priced around $50, with a bundle containing two copies of each deck also available for $180. Unlike Booster Packs, you can review the full Commander Decklists here to know precisely what you're getting.
Bundles represent another MTG product category, typically offering a mix of booster packs, land cards, and themed accessories. The flagship Aetherdrift bundle, titled "Finish Line," leans into the racing theme. Priced at $80, here's what it contains:
2 Collector Boosters 6 Play Boosters 3 Extended-Art Cards (bundle-exclusive alternate art) 2 Foil Box Topper Cards 20 Foil Land Cards (including 5 full-art lands) 1 Foil Card Storage Box 1 Special Spindown Life Counter 5 Mana Symbol Stickers 2 Reference Cards
$79.99 at Amazon
Here's what you'll find in the standard Aetherdrift Bundle, currently available for just under $50:
9 Aetherdrift MTG Play Boosters 1 Traditional Foil Alt-Art Card 40 Land Cards (20 foil, 20 nonfoil) 1 Spindown Life Counter 1 Card Storage Box 2 Reference Cards
$53.99 save 8% $49.44 at Amazon

15 MTG cards and 1 Traditional Foil double-sided token $24.99 at Amazon
You can purchase Collector Boosters from Amazon for approximately $25, while Play Boosters are available at retailers like GameStop. For individual booster packs, I highly recommend checking out your local game store.
