Pokémon Go’s February 2025 Community Day event will feature Karrablast and Shelmet

Get ready for a double dose of Community Day fun in Pokémon Go! This February, Karrablast and Shelmet take center stage.

Key Event Details:

• Date & Time: Sunday, February 9th, 2:00 PM to 5:00 PM local time.
• Increased Spawns: Karrablast and Shelmet will appear much more frequently in the wild. Shiny encounters are possible!
• Exclusive Moves: Evolve your Karrablast and Shelmet during the event to get Escavalier (Razor Shell) and Accelgor (Energy Ball) with powerful charged attacks. Razor Shell boasts 35 power in Trainer Battles, 55 in Gyms and Raids. Energy Ball packs a 90-power punch across all battle types.

Community Day Special Research:

A Special Research ticket ($2 or local equivalent) unlocks exclusive rewards:

• Karrablast and Shelmet encounters with a Dual Destiny-themed Special Background.
• Additional encounters.
• A Premium Battle Pass.
• Rare Candy XL.

Bonus Opportunities:

• Timed Research: A free Timed Research quest will be available for all players who log in during the event, featuring more Karrablast and Shelmet encounters and boosted Shiny odds. Don't forget to redeem those Pokémon Go codes for extra goodies!
• Event Bonuses: Enjoy triple XP and double Candy for catching Pokémon. Trainers level 31 and above have an increased chance of receiving Candy XL. Lure Modules and Incense last three hours. Trading is enhanced with an extra Special Trade and 50% reduced Stardust costs.
