PUBG McLaren Collab Returns, Green Campaign Triumphs

PUBG Mobile speeds into a thrilling new collaboration with McLaren Automotive and McLaren Racing, blending the intensity of battle royale with the adrenaline of Formula 1. This high-octane partnership, running until January 7th, delivers a range of exclusive McLaren-themed content.

Players can get behind the wheel of the returning McLaren 570S, available in six vibrant designs including Royal Black and Pearlescent. Making its debut is the McLaren P1, boasting three stylish liveries: Volcano Yellow, Fantasy Pink, and Starry Sky. For the first time, the iconic McLaren F1 Team Race Car (Digital and Victory models) is also available, complete with matching Formula 1 Team Race Suit and Helmet. Additional collectibles, such as the McLaren Parachute and McLaren Key Ornament, round out the offerings.

The Erangel map undergoes a dramatic transformation, becoming a racing hub complete with pit stops for vehicle repairs and refueling. New events, including Speed Drift and the McLaren F1-themed Drive To Thrill, offer exciting challenges and rewarding prizes, such as a personalized in-game driver's license.

Beyond the McLaren partnership, PUBG Mobile's commitment to environmental awareness shines through its successful Play for Green campaign. This initiative, launched in September, featured redesigned versions of the Erangel map, showcasing the impact of climate change (Ruins of Erangel: Sandstorm and Ruins of Erangel: Exploration). The accompanying Run for Green event converted player movement into rewards, while the World of Wonder Green Creative Contest empowered creators to design their own maps. These efforts culminated in PUBG Mobile receiving the Media’s Choice Award at the Green Game Jam 2024.
