While Marvel prepares for a fourth Spider-Man installment, Sony is reportedly pursuing a different direction. Industry insider Jeff Sneider, on The Hot Mic podcast, revealed that Sony is actively seeking an actor to portray Miles Morales. Whether Miles will headline his own film or appear in another project remains uncertain, but the news is exciting for fans.

Miles Morales, initially voiced by Shameik Moore in Sony's animated Spider-Man films, quickly gained immense popularity. The success of these animated films, along with producer Amy Pascal's previous confirmation of interest in a live-action Miles, suggests this adaptation is highly likely. While a solo Miles Morales film is possible, his inclusion in another film within Sony's Spider-Man Universe, perhaps a rumored Spider-Gwen film or another secretly developed project, seems more probable.
