Kazuma Kaneko, the iconic designer known for his work on Shin Megami Tensei, Persona, and Devil Summoner, is back with a thrilling new project: Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter. Developed by COLOPL, this roguelike deck-building game is set to launch on PC, iOS, and Android, blending Kaneko's distinctive dark, mythological style with strategic card-based combat.
Set in a futuristic Tokyo Bay, Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter unfolds within The Hashira, a towering high-rise transformed into a sealed-off battleground. This eerie structure is now home to gods and demons, and you'll join an elite national defense force, also called Tsukuyomi, tasked with reaching the top floor to eliminate a formidable target.
Fans of Kaneko's previous works will recognize the game's setting, which masterfully combines urban decay with supernatural horror, creating a tense and atmospheric experience. The fusion of mythology and cyberpunk themes is set to captivate players when the game launches later this year.
In Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter, you'll embark on a roguelike journey, building a deck of powerful abilities as you navigate an ever-changing dungeon. Each playthrough offers unique cards, layouts, and enemy encounters, ensuring no two runs are the same.

Combat in Tsukuyomi is fast-paced and turn-based, requiring you to make strategic decisions quickly. With each turn, you can perform only one action, choosing between an attack or a defense move. The right choices are crucial to your success.
As you explore the dungeon, you'll encounter branching paths and critical decisions that shape your journey. Each choice carries lasting consequences, impacting battles and resource availability. True to the roguelike genre, failure is harsh—losing a fight means starting over from scratch, so strategic planning is essential.
Tsukuyomi: The Divine Hunter is slated for release around June 30th, though this date may change. Stay tuned and pre-register by clicking on your preferred link below.
