Previously limited to smart TVs, PCs, mobile devices, and Meta Quest headsets, this cloud gaming feature marks its console debut - saving both download time and valuable storage space.

Here's how to access cloud gaming on your Xbox:

Navigate to My Games & Apps → Full Library → Owned Games

Look for the cloud badge on supported titles Use Filters → Ready to Play → Cloud Gaming for quicker access Select your game and choose "Play with Cloud Gaming" New cloud-enabled purchases can launch directly from the Store app

Complementing this feature, gamers can stream installed Xbox games to supported browsers via Xbox's web portal. While discontinued on the mobile app, browser-based streaming remains available and will expand to Samsung/Fire TVs and Meta Quest soon.

Additionally, Xbox revealed backward-compatible Xbox/360 titles will gain remote play support starting this month.

These updates reflect Xbox's ongoing initiative to optimize console storage. The latest dashboard update introduces intelligent storage management recommendations accessible through My Games & Apps → Manage.

With game install sizes ballooning (especially for titles like Call of Duty and Baldur's Gate 3), Xbox continues expanding storage solutions. For those needing additional space beyond these cloud improvements, various external storage options remain available - particularly useful for players not upgrading to newer, higher-capacity Xbox models.
