To ensure your system is suitable for running Potenza Drive, or to determine if you need to try different components, we recommend conducting the following tests:
Perform a regular speed communication test to assess the baseline performance of your setup.
Conduct the fastest allowed type of communication test. Note that this is only supported by some vehicle OBD-II protocols.
It's important to understand that the ISO 15765-4 CAN protocol is the only OBD-II protocol capable of delivering up to 140 parameters per second, provided your OBD-II adapter includes a higher quality chip. Older protocols may only provide up to 4 parameters per second in the worst-case scenario.
