Can you survive the onslaught of killer robots in this nostalgic arcade classic? "Robots On" challenges you to do just that.
Robots On
Test your skills against a relentless swarm of killer robots in this old-school arcade revival.
This is a fast-paced, intense arcade shooter. You must stay mobile and keep firing to survive.
A relentless robot attack unfolds in this retro game inspired by the golden age of arcades.
Play in a flat 2D mode just like the classics, or tap the camera icon to zoom in and experience the action from multiple angles, including first and third-person views.
These Robots utilize cutting-edge Artificial Intelligence (AI 2.0a), but they still aren't quite a match for human cunning. (I assume you're human—my apologies if you're... something else.)
You get a brief two-second head start while they power up, but soon it's "Robots On" and you must move. Use that crucial time to target the most powerful and dangerous robots first.
The action is frantic, as you're outnumbered a thousand to one by this collective of evil killer robots.
To advance to the next level, you must destroy all Robots, except for the indestructible Grunts.
Be sure to collect the special items and power-ups along the way:
Star : Activates auto-aim, temporarily overriding your control to target the most
dangerous robots.
Diamond : Grants shields.
Cherry: Awards big points.
Heart: Bonus Life.
Lightning: Freezes all robots until they recharge.
You begin with 5 lives and can earn bonus lives—initially every 5,000 points, and later every 10,000 points.
Here is a quick guide to the Robots:
Reds - Common worker bots that shoot lasers from their eyes.
Greens - Indestructible Grunt bots. Heavy and best avoided.
Brain Bots - Fire deadly homing missiles.
Torus Bull Bots - Replication bots that spawn more deadly robots.
Cake Bots - Fly directly at you, so keep moving.
Cube Bots - Faster replication robots that produce deadly Cash Registers.
Cash Registers - Another deadly android type that shoots bouncing electric balls.
Dumb Blocks - Harmless, unless you collide with them.
Firing controls - Tap on the board or on a robot to fire in that direction.
Tap off the board to fire straight ahead.
Hold your finger down for rapid fire.
It's that simple. Download "Robots On" now and help stop the killer Robots from overwhelming humanity.
