In Echoes of Dissent, you'll follow Merlin to Brimstone Village, where tensions are simmering. The situation escalates quickly as the underground elvish kingdom of Sal'Thorin faces a crisis. The kingdom's lifeblood, divine dew, is dwindling, causing its inhabitants to transform into monstrous beings. But fear not, as you'll be joined by two new heroes to tackle these challenges: Zanie, a dwarvish inventor skilled in creating mechanical allies, and Indris, the captain of the Sal'Thorin Guard, whose doubts may lead him to side with Merlin and their allies.

While those hoping for a purely dwarf-focused experience might be disappointed by the inclusion of elves (a common dwarvish sentiment), the new content is undeniably rich. Alongside Zanie and Indris, you'll meet Valara, Daimon, and Kulu, each adding a unique flair to your team.

One of the season's highlights is the 1v1 elimination tournament, Sunlit Showdown. Here, you'll enter the battlefield without carryover progression, facing three difficulty tiers that will challenge even the most seasoned players. Compete through six rounds for valuable loot at the end!
