Remedy Entertainment's highly anticipated Anniversary Update for Alan Wake 2 arrives tomorrow, October 22nd, alongside the launch of the Lake House DLC.
Marking almost a year since Alan Wake 2's release, Remedy expresses gratitude to its players and community. The free Anniversary Update, launching concurrently with The Lake House expansion, significantly enhances accessibility. New options include infinite ammo and one-hit kills. PS5 players will also experience improved DualSense functionality, with haptic feedback for healing items and throwables, and the ability to invert horizontal axis controls.
Remedy highlights that development hasn't ceased since launch. Alongside the Night Springs and Lake House expansions, the team has actively incorporated player feedback, resulting in this substantial quality-of-life update. These improvements, bundled into the Anniversary Update, address many frequently requested features.
