Applin and Dynamax Entei to Debut in Pokémon Go This Month

Get ready for an exciting month in Pokémon Go as two new Pokémon from the Galar region make their debut. Whether you're drawn to the adorable or the formidable, the Sweet Discoveries event and the Max Battle Weekend have you covered. From April 24th to 29th, dive into the Sweet Discoveries event where the charming Dragon/Grass-type Applin makes its first appearance. Evolving Applin into Flapple or Appletun requires 200 Applin Candy and 20 apples—Tart Apples for Flapple and Sweet Apples for Appletun. Keep an eye out for apples in the wild, especially around Mossy Lures, which might also trigger Applin encounters.

During the Sweet Discoveries event, you'll encounter wild Pokémon like Bounsweet, Skwovet, and the delightful Delibird. Field Research and Eggs will offer opportunities to catch themed Pokémon such as Munchlax and Cherubi. Additionally, you can obtain Sweet and Tart Apples through Timed Research, available in both free and paid versions. Opting for the paid version grants you extra Mossy Lure Modules and more encounters, including Applin.
