ARK: Survival Ascended Roadmap Reveals 2 Years of Plans

ARK: Survival Ascended's Extended Content Roadmap Unveiled

Studio Wildcard has recently unveiled an ambitious content roadmap for ARK: Survival Ascended, extending through late 2026. This detailed plan outlines a significant expansion of the ARK: Survival Evolved remaster, leveraging the power of Unreal Engine 5.

Key highlights from the roadmap include:

  • Unreal Engine 5.5 Upgrade (March 2025): This crucial update will significantly boost performance and pave the way for individual DLC map downloads, reducing the overall game size. Nvidia's frame generation support will also return.

  • New Maps and Content: The roadmap details a steady stream of new content, including:

    • Free Ragnarok Ascended, Bison (Free Creature), and a Fantastic Tame (April 2025)
    • New Premium Map (June 2025) Details to be announced later.
    • Free Valguero Ascended, Community-Voted Creature, and Fantastic Tame (August 2025)
    • Free Genesis Ascended Part 1 & Bob's True Tales Part 1 (April 2026)
    • Free Genesis Ascended Part 2 & Bob's True Tales Part 2 (August 2026)
    • Free Fjordur Ascended and Community-Voted Creature (December 2026)
    • Three additional Fantastic Tames throughout 2026

The roadmap emphasizes a blend of free content updates, including remastered maps and community-chosen creatures, alongside paid DLC, such as the new premium map. The phased release of the Genesis expansions and Bob's True Tales is also a notable feature.

While the roadmap provides a high-level overview, Studio Wildcard hints at potential unannounced additions over the next two years, promising continued evolution for ARK: Survival Ascended.
