New Assassin's Creed Shadows Trailer Showcases PC Version Features

Ubisoft has released a new trailer showcasing the PC version of Assassin's Creed Shadows, highlighting its impressive features. The trailer emphasizes support for cutting-edge upscaling technologies like DLSS 3.7, FSR 3.1, and XeSS 2, ensuring stunning visuals across a range of hardware. Ultra-wide monitor support is also confirmed, along with ray tracing enhancements such as RTGI and RT Reflections. For players with less powerful PCs, extensive settings allow for customization to optimize performance.

A built-in benchmark tool will help players test performance and ensure compatibility. Minimum specifications for 1080p at 30 FPS include an Intel Core i7 8700K or AMD Ryzen 5 3600 processor, and an NVIDIA GTX 1070 (8 GB) or AMD RX 5700 (8 GB) GPU. High-end players aiming for 4K, 60 FPS with ultra settings and ray tracing enabled will need an Intel Core i7 13700K or AMD Ryzen 7 7800X3D processor, and a powerful RTX 4090 (24 GB) graphics card.

Ubisoft has partnered with Intel for optimized performance on their processors. While post-launch assessments will determine performance on AMD systems, the developers aim to address past stuttering issues that plagued previous Assassin's Creed titles. Mirage showed significant improvement in this area compared to Origins, Odyssey, and Valhalla, offering hope for a smoother experience in Shadows.
