Assassin’s Creed Shadows is a vast RPG with a wealth of activities to engage in. Even after completing the main quest, there's still plenty to explore and enjoy. Here’s what you can expect after beating Assassin’s Creed Shadows.

After finishing the main quest, you can continue to explore the expansive open world of Assassin’s Creed Shadows. The game is set in Feudal Japan, and there's a plethora of side content waiting for you. Completing the main quest doesn't restrict you from any of this additional content, allowing you to fully immerse yourself in the world.
Moreover, Ubisoft plans to introduce new weekly challenges through the Animus post-launch, ensuring that even after achieving 100% completion, there will be fresh activities to keep you engaged.
Even after the credits roll, your journey in Assassin’s Creed Shadows might not be over. In my playthrough, the credits appeared after completing the Shinbakufu Objective Board and the main quests for Yasuke and Naoe. However, I hadn't yet unlocked the trophy for finishing Act 3 or The Epilogue.
To experience the true ending and epilogue, you must complete the personal stories of Naoe, Yasuke, and Junjiro. After that, return to the Hideout and speak with Tomiko. This will unlock the complete ending and the associated achievements.
Additionally, you can earn exclusive gear themed around the Assassins for Naoe and the Templars for Yasuke near the game's end. These armor sets come with unique perks that enhance each protagonist’s playstyle and are a nod to long-time fans of the Assassin’s Creed series.
As for endgame content, you can continue to level up your characters to the game’s maximum level cap even after the credits roll.

While the main story of Assassin’s Creed Shadows concludes at launch, there's much more to anticipate. Ubisoft will continue to add new content through the Animus, and the in-game store will likely see updates with new items. Additionally, a story expansion titled The Claws of Awaji is set to release later in 2025, offering over 10 hours of new content on the Island of Awaji.
Assassin’s Creed Shadows is available now on PC, PlayStation 5, and Xbox Series X|S.
