Assassin’s Creed Shadows (AC Shadows) has been captivating players for over a month now, and Ubisoft is committed to enhancing the experience with a robust lineup of updates. The year 1 roadmap, unveiled by Ubisoft on Twitter (X) on May 1, showcases a series of new story and gameplay enhancements.

A highlight of the roadmap is the introduction of new Story Drops—multiple free content updates that will enrich the game's narrative and gameplay. Ubisoft explains, "These new free quests will introduce new player abilities, new allies, new world activities, and provide deeper looks and backstories for some of your favorite characters, each new piece of content expanding on the main game."

Furthermore, Ubisoft is gearing up for the release of their first expansion, The Claws of Awaji, slated for later this year. This expansion will transport players to the new region of Awaji Island, available to explore post-epilogue of the main game. Expect new enemies, enhanced abilities for both protagonists, and an exclusive new weapon for Naoe.
