Finding and Romancing Naoise Nallinto in Baldur's Gate 3: A Hidden Romance

Many players are familiar with Baldur's Gate 3's prominent romance options, but some less-obvious encounters often go unnoticed. One such hidden romance involves Naoise Nallinto at Sharess' Caress. This quick romance is easily missed, occurring during a pivotal game moment. This guide details how to find Naoise and initiate this unique encounter.

Locating Naoise Nallinto

Act III and Sharess' Caress: You must reach the early stages of Act III. While traveling to Baldur's Gate, you'll pass Wyrm's Crossing. Your first visit requires meeting Raphael at Sharess' Caress, a brothel east of the Baldur's Gate bridge. If you've already explored Wyrm's Crossing, use the South Span fast-travel point.

The Nymph's Grotto: Naoise resides in the Nymph's Grotto, a second-floor chamber. Identify the door with a green light and ivy; it's locked but easily lock-picked (DC 10).

Initiating the Romance

Interact with Naoise and Jara: Inside, you'll find Naoise and Jara (a Flaming Heart soldier) in a compromising position. Jara's reaction to your interruption triggers a dialogue. Choosing "Whoever you think I am, you're mistaken" is one approach. Defeat the Mindflayer Jara transforms into.

Dialogue Choices: After defeating Jara, Naoise reveals her attraction to Mindflayers. Responding with "Your client is dead. I thought you'd be more upset." (or a similar non-judgmental response) is effective. A successful Insight check reveals her romantic interest.

The Romantic Encounter: Choosing "That creature aroused you, didn't it?", followed by "What did you have in mind?" and "Close your eyes and listen," leads to a unique mental romance scene.

Choosing Your Fate: Naoise asks, "What will you be?" Options include Revered, Contented, Powerful, Rich, or ending the encounter. Choosing "Contented" (or another option) results in a brief romance. Note: This encounter is a one-time event.

Post-Romance: After the encounter, Naoise offers no further interaction. Shadowheart grants the "Carnal Rituals of Sharess" inspiration point. The Rapture boon (passive 1d6 bonus to most ability checks) is also awarded. This romance appears unaffected by existing relationships with other characters.
