by Logan Mar 19,2025

2025 promises to be a monumental year for DC Comics, and few projects loom larger than the highly anticipated Batman: Hush 2. It's a significant event—DC's President, Publisher, and Chief Creative Officer, Jim Lee, helming a monthly Batman comic. Launching in March with Batman #158, this storyline serves as a direct sequel to the acclaimed Hush saga (2002-2004).

DC has unveiled an extended preview of Batman #158, along with early looks at Batman #159 and a showcase of the numerous variant covers for Hush 2 (or H2sh, for those who prefer that). Explore the full preview in the gallery below:

While DC has released several Hush-related stories since the original concluded, Batman: Hush 2 marks the first sequel featuring the original creative team. Writer Jeph Loeb and artist Jim Lee reunite, joined by inker Scott Williams, colorist Alex Sinclair, and letterer Richard Starkings.

Building upon the recent epilogue in Batman: Hush 20th Anniversary Edition, Hush 2 finds the Dark Knight uncovering evidence that his childhood friend, Tommy Elliot, survived their last encounter. This revelation sets the stage for a new mystery as Hush manipulates Batman's allies and enemies.

Hush 2 will unfold across Batman #158-163, with #158 hitting shelves on March 26th. Following this arc, DC will relaunch the series with a new #1 issue and a new costume, as writer Matt Fraction and artist Jorge Jimenez usher in a new era for the Dark Knight.
