Beat Faithwight Magileto: ReFantazio

Conquering the Faithwight Magileto in Metaphor: ReFantazio

Metaphor: ReFantazio's dungeons often feature formidable mini-bosses, and the Faithwight Magileto in the Spire of Blind Faith is a prime example. This challenging encounter requires strategic planning and a bit of luck, even for well-leveled parties.

Faithwight Magileto: Weaknesses, Skills, and Resistances

Weakness Repel Resists Blocks
Strike Light, Dark, Pierce, Electric

This level 50 enemy can summon additional level 50 enemies, making it ill-advised to engage below level 45. Its arsenal includes devastating dark and light magic (single-target and AoE), the highly damaging Megidolaon (AoE), and self-buffs enhancing these elemental attacks. The Magileto also utilizes Soul Scream for Press Turn advantage and can summon skeletal allies.

These summoned skeletons possess strong slashing attacks, dark magic, potent buffs, and access to powerful healing spells, often restoring the Magileto to full health. Their weakness is Strike, highlighting the importance of focusing on this attack type.

Strategies for Victory

Even at level 50, this fight is exceptionally difficult. Preparation is crucial:

  • Archetype Selection & Skill Inheritance: Prioritize Archetypes resistant to Dark and Light damage (Warlock, Thief). Inherit Strike skills from the Brawler Archetype to maximize Press Turn opportunities. The Magic Knight's Dark Dodge and the Healer's Light Dodge are invaluable. Strength-focused Archetypes are beneficial if you have many unlocked and can utilize Skill Inheritance effectively.

  • Essential Skills: Equip at least two party members with party-wide healing spells. Ensure every party member has a Strike attack.

  • Managing Summoned Allies: Eliminate summoned allies swiftly to prevent their healing magic from restoring the Magileto's health. Dekaja can dispel enemy buffs.

  • Turn Strategy: Aim for at least six Strike attacks and two party-wide heals per turn.

  • Mitigation: Dark and Light Dodge skills on most party members significantly improve survivability against the Magileto's frequent attacks. Tetrabreak counters Tetrakarn if used by a summoned enemy.

Note: Consecutive Megidolaons are nearly unsurvivable. Success relies on a combination of strategic play, skillful execution, and a degree of luck.
