Befriend the Dwarves in Stardew Valley: A Quick Guide

This guide reveals the secrets to befriending Stardew Valley's enigmatic Dwarf, a unique character residing in the mines. While his origins remain shrouded in mystery, building a relationship with him is achievable, albeit requiring the acquisition of a new language. Unlike other villagers, friendship with the Dwarf offers different rewards, adding a touch of fantasy to your farming adventure.

Meeting the Dwarf

Located near the Mines' entrance, a large boulder hides the Dwarf's shop. Destroy it using a copper pickaxe or a bomb to reveal his dwelling.

Learning Dwarvish

The Dwarf speaks a unique language. To communicate, you must donate all four Dwarf Scrolls to the Museum. Gunther will then reward you with a Dwarvish translation guide, unlocking communication and access to his shop.

Movie Theater Encounters

Once the Movie Theater opens, invite the Dwarf. He loves all films but is picky about snacks. He loves Stardrop Sorbet and Rock Candy, and likes Cotton Candy, Ice Cream Sandwich, Jawbreaker, Salmon Burger, Sour Slimes, and Star Cookie. Other concessions are disliked.
