Player Compensation and Final Updates

Blue Protocol Global Release Canceled as Japan Servers Close DownBandai Namco's announcement confirms the termination of Blue Protocol's Japanese service on January 18, 2025, effectively ending the planned global launch in partnership with Amazon Games. The company cites its inability to deliver a consistently satisfying player experience as the primary reason for this decision. In an official statement, Bandai expressed regret for the cancellation, stating they could not maintain a service meeting player expectations.

Until the game's closure, Bandai promises continued support through updates and new content. However, Rose Orb purchases and refunds will cease. As compensation, players will receive 5,000 Rose Orbs monthly (September 2024 – January 2025) plus 250 daily. Free access to the Season Pass (starting with Season 9) and the final Chapter 7 update (December 18, 2024) are also included.

Blue Protocol Global Release Canceled as Japan Servers Close DownLaunched in Japan in June 2023, Blue Protocol initially attracted over 200,000 concurrent players. However, significant server issues at launch, followed by declining player numbers and negative feedback, ultimately led to its downfall.

Despite its strong initial interest, the game failed to meet Bandai Namco's financial projections. This underperformance, previously hinted at in their March 31, 2024 financial report, solidified the decision to end service.
