The Premise:
One hundred detectives battle it out in a mysterious competition, solving intricate crimes orchestrated by some of the world's most cunning criminals. The grand prize? A million dollars and a life-altering opportunity. However, a criminal who manages to outsmart the detectives also wins a million dollars and parole, regardless of their criminal history. Methods 4: The Best Detective covers Chapters 61-85 of the overarching narrative.
A massive hit on Steam, the Methods: Detective Competition series has been divided into five parts for mobile release, with this being the penultimate chapter. Intrigued? Let's take a peek at what awaits in Methods 4: The Best Detective.
Where the Story Stands:
Following The Invisible Man, detectives Ashdown and Woes successfully completed Stage Four of the competition. Their victory, however, presents a new set of headaches for the Gamemasters, forcing them to navigate their own murky secrets while facing escalating challenges. Meanwhile, Haney works to expose their scheme, Catscratcher wreaks havoc, and the even more complex Stage Five looms.
Gameplay remains consistent with previous chapters: players analyze crime scenes, gather clues, and answer multiple-choice questions to solve cases. Expect over 25 interactive crime scenes, a gripping storyline, and the signature Methods art style.
