Activision has announced the release date for Call of Duty: Black Ops 6 and Warzone's upcoming Season 3, which will launch a bit later than players anticipated. According to a recent post on X (formerly Twitter), Season 3 is scheduled to kick off on April 3. This date comes as a surprise, as the current Battle Pass countdown hinted at an earlier reset on March 20.
The anticipation for Season 3 is high, particularly with the teased return of the fan-favorite Verdansk map. Activision has hinted at its reintroduction this spring, and a recent pop-up in the Call of Duty shop for "The Verdansk Collection," set to launch on March 10, suggests that the map's return could be imminent. More details on what to expect from Season 3 are expected to be revealed next week, likely coinciding with the release of "The Verdansk Collection."
While we await further information, players can continue enjoying Season 2, which has already delivered a wealth of content. This season introduced five new multiplayer maps, the beloved Gun Game mode, fresh weapons and operators, and an exciting Teenage Mutant Ninja Turtles crossover event. Stay tuned for more updates as we approach the launch of Season 3 on April 3.
