Gamescom Latam 2024 Crowns "What the Car?" Best Mobile Game

Gamescom Latam, the inaugural event held in Sao Paulo, Brazil, successfully showcased Latin America's burgeoning gaming scene and celebrated global industry achievements. A key highlight was the game awards ceremony, a collaboration with the BIG Festival, featuring a spectacular presentation of winners.

The awards featured 13 categories, with finalists selected by a 49-judge panel. All nominees were playable at a prominent booth within the Sao Paulo Expo, a refreshing inclusion of mobile games alongside their PC counterparts, highlighting the growing importance of the mobile gaming market.

The coveted "Best Mobile Game" award went to Triband ApS's "What the Car?", a well-deserved win. This title previously featured in Jupiter Hadley's article showcasing lesser-known gems, demonstrating its rising popularity.
