Annapurna Interactive's mass staff resignation has raised concerns about the future of its game projects. However, several titles appear unaffected.

Key Projects Proceeding Despite Resignation
While the resignation caused significant upheaval, developers have confirmed that some projects remain on track. Remedy Entertainment, for example, clarified that their agreement for Control 2, including associated rights, is with Annapurna Pictures, and that Remedy is self-publishing the game. Development on Wanderstop, from Davey Wreden and Team Ivy Road, is also reportedly progressing without interruption. Similarly, Lushfoil Photography Sim is nearing completion and is expected to proceed as planned. Beethoven & Dinosaur also confirmed that Mixtape remains in development.

The situation, however, remains uncertain for other titles. There's been no public statement on the status of several games including Silent Hill: Downfall, Morsels, The Lost Wild, Bounty Star, and the internally developed Blade Runner 2033: Labyrinth.
Annapurna Pictures CEO Megan Ellison has assured continued support for its development partners. While many developers remain optimistic, the full impact of the mass resignation on Annapurna Interactive's game portfolio remains to be seen.

The Resignation and its Aftermath
The entire 25-person team at Annapurna Interactive resigned following disagreements over the studio's future direction. This followed the departure of former president Nathan Gary. Despite the setback, Annapurna Pictures remains committed to interactive entertainment.

The situation highlights the complexities of game development and publishing, especially in the wake of significant internal changes. Further updates are expected as the situation unfolds.
