Critical Role Postpones Campaign 3 Climax Due to Los Angeles Fires

Due to the devastating wildfires in Los Angeles, Critical Role has postponed this week's episode of Campaign 3. The impact on the cast, crew, and community has necessitated this delay. While a return to streaming on January 16th is hoped for, further postponements remain a possibility.

Campaign 3 is nearing its highly anticipated finale, with the episode count remaining uncertain. The recent cliffhanger leaves viewers eager to see how the Bells Hells confront their formidable threat and the fate of a beloved character. The conclusion of Campaign 3 is imminent, potentially followed by a new campaign utilizing the Daggerheart TTRPG system.

The January 9th episode cancellation directly resulted from the wildfires. Several cast and crew members, including Matt Mercer, Marisha Ray, Dani Carr, and Kyle Shire, experienced significant personal impacts. While some escaped with minimal losses, others, such as Kyle Shire, unfortunately lost their homes. The Critical Role community is expressing support and relief across social media.

Although a one-week delay is the current plan, further postponements are understandable given the ongoing situation. The Critical Role team urges patience and encourages fans to support those affected by the wildfires. In line with this, the Critical Role Foundation is contributing $30,000 to the California Community Foundation’s Wildfire Recovery Fund. The show's motto, "Don't forget to love each other," resonates deeply during this challenging time.
