Dark & Darker Mobile slated for soft launch in Canada next month, release in first half of this year

Dark and Darker Mobile, Krafton's mobile adaptation of Ironmace's popular extraction dungeon crawler, is gearing up for its soft launch in Canada on February 5th. A worldwide launch is expected in the first half of 2024. Pre-registration remains open.

For the uninitiated, Dark and Darker blends extraction shooter and dungeon crawler mechanics. Players, solo or in parties, explore a vast dungeon, battling monsters and rival players to claim loot. The PC version's success prompted Krafton to secure the mobile adaptation rights.

Significant improvements are planned before the global launch. These include refinements to the Darkswarm system and escape mechanics, along with structural overhauls to enhance party play. Class differentiation will also be enhanced through improved basic attacks and combat mechanics, plus the addition of a wider array of weapons and skills.
