Dead Cells Mobile's final free content updates delayed, but with a confirmed release date!
The much-anticipated final two free updates for Dead Cells on mobile, Clean Cut and The End is Near, have been pushed back. However, developer Playdigious has announced a firm release date: February 18th, 2025.
Both updates, already available on console and PC, will introduce significant new content. Let's break down what's in store:
Clean Cut: This update features two exciting new weapons: the strategic Sewing Scissors (Survival-focused) and the powerful Giant Comb (Brutality-focused). A new character, the Tailor's Daughter, will also appear, allowing players to customize their character's appearance. Additional surprises await!
The End is Near: Prepare for a challenge! This update introduces formidable new enemies: the Sore Loser, Curser, and Doom Bringer. Expect new skills and colorless mutations, including the game-changing Demonic Strength, which boosts damage by a significant 30% when cursed, with an additional 1% boost for each curse stack.

A fitting farewell to free updates: Playdigious has consistently delivered substantial free content to Dead Cells. While the end of these free updates allows the studio to pursue new projects, their dedication deserves recognition.
Both Clean Cut and The End is Near will launch simultaneously on February 18th, 2025, for Android and iOS devices.
