Dead by Daylight has joined forces with the iconic Resident Evil series to introduce an exhilarating new 2v8 mode. This special event brings the thrill of Capcom's legendary horror franchise into the mix, offering a fresh and exciting twist to the gameplay experience.
Players can now embody two of Resident Evil's most notorious villains: Nemesis and Albert Wesker, also known as The Puppeteer. They will confront a team of Resident Evil's beloved heroes, including:
The action unfolds within the haunting corridors of the Raccoon City Police Station, a setting familiar to fans of the Resident Evil series.
This collaboration stands out as it marks the first time Nemesis and Wesker are paired together in this type of gameplay, delivering a truly unique experience. Both characters utilize their signature infection-based abilities: Nemesis harnesses the power of the T-Virus, while Wesker employs Uroboros to target Survivors.
In the 2v8 mode, players can gather special herbs inspired by the Resident Evil series. These herbs serve various purposes; for instance, some provide healing for Survivors, while yellow herbs are used to repair hooks. Interestingly, Killers can also collect herbs, which grant them a temporary speed boost.
Whether you're new to the 2v8 mode or a seasoned player, it's crucial to be aware of the changes. The traditional Powers and Perks have been replaced with a new Class System, which introduces a range of strategic options for both Killers and Survivors.
The Dead by Daylight x Resident Evil collaboration will be available until February 25, providing players with plenty of time to dive into this thrilling crossover. Don't miss out on this unique blend of horror and strategy!
