"Death Stranding 2: On the Beach Global Release Schedule Announced"

Kojima Productions has officially announced the global release times for Death Stranding 2: On the Beach, the highly anticipated sequel to Hideo Kojima’s groundbreaking open-world delivery adventure, once again starring Norman Reedus.

For the majority of players, the game will become available at midnight local time on Thursday, June 26, 2025. However, fans who have opted for the digital deluxe edition will be granted early access, beginning Tuesday, June 24, 2025—offering a two-day head start into the mysterious world of BBs, Bridges, and BTs.

While Kojima Productions has not released a visual time zone map this time around, the unlock times are straightforward: midnight local time, regardless of location. So whether you're in Los Angeles or Tokyo, the countdown begins at the stroke of midnight.

IGN’s review of *Death Stranding 2: On the Beach* awarded the game a stellar 9/10, stating: "Death Stranding 2: On the Beach is a triumphant sequel that emphatically delivers on the promise of its original."

Beyond the game itself, fans have plenty more to look forward to in the Death Stranding universe. Hideo Kojima is collaborating with A24 on a live-action film adaptation, and excitingly, a Death Stranding anime is also currently in development. Meanwhile, Kojima’s creative momentum continues with Physint, a top-secret PlayStation-exclusive action espionage project, and he has described the upcoming Xbox-published title OD as "a game I have always wanted to make."
