Love, Death + Robots Vol 4 Teaser Trailer

5 ImagesNetflix has released a teaser trailer that packs a visual punch, staying true to the Love, Death + Robots style while hinting at more intriguing and bizarre concepts. In just a minute of footage, we caught glimpses of:

  • An epic space battle or cosmic disaster
  • A rock band made up of puppets
  • An adult toy brought to life with giant eyes through claymation
  • A priest strolling alongside an alien creature with tentacles on a beach
  • A possibly bionic woman enduring torment, accompanied by an adorable fuzzball
  • Enormous, menacing babies
  • Dinosaurs clashing in a violent showdown
  • An alien invasion depicted using miniatures
  • A cat with a look of disgust, seemingly observing the chaos

The series is executive produced by Tim Miller, known for directing Deadpool, and David Fincher, acclaimed for films like Seven and The Social Network. Jennifer Yuh Nelson, who contributed her artistic talents to Kung Fu Panda 2 and Shrek Forever After, is back as the supervising director.

"If the legacy of Love, Death + Robots is that there are a handful, fifteen people, ten years from now who became directors or became animators or became motion capture performers or doing voice work because they were such big Love, Death + Robots fans, that's all I care about right now," Fincher shared in a 2022 interview with Collider.

"This show was never going to pay for your Gulf Stream. You're either here because you want to be here or you're not here. We're hoping desperately to get to waste more of our lives toiling in obscurity."
