New Pokémon in Pokémon Sleep: Catch Sneasel and Weavile!

Pokémon fans rejoice! New Pokémon have arrived in Pokémon Sleep. As of December 3rd, 2024, you can now befriend Sneasel and Weavile. Here's how:

Where to Find Sneasel and Weavile

Given their Ice/Dark typing in the main series games, you'll find Sneasel and Weavile at Snowdrop Tundra in Pokémon Sleep. However, they're classified as Dark-type only within the game.

Conveniently, they also appear on Greengrass Isle, making them accessible to all players, regardless of their research island progress. Use an EZ Travel Ticket to change your research location if needed.

Sleep Types

Both Sneasel and Weavile share the Dozing sleep type. To maximize your chances of encountering them, ensure your sleep type matches for the night. Sneasel, as the pre-evolution, will be easier to find during Sleep Research. Evolving it to Weavile requires 80 Sneasel Candy and a Razor Claw. You'll still need to encounter Weavile in the wild to collect Sleep Research data.

Are They Worth It?

Sneasel's value lies in its berry-gathering capabilities (Wiki Berries) and its "Tasty Chance S" skill. Its ingredient requirements include sought-after items, making a well-equipped Sneasel a valuable addition to your Snowdrop Tundra team.
