Get ready for a legendary showdown! Articuno, Zapdos, and Moltres are making their Dynamax debuts in Pokémon Go during the Legendary Flight event. This exciting Max Battle event lets you encounter these powerful birds in their Dynamax forms, adding a new level of challenge and reward to the recently introduced Max Battles.
The event runs from January 20th to February 3rd, with a different Dynamax Legendary bird featured each week on Max Mondays. Articuno starts the event on January 20th, followed by Zapdos on January 27th, and Moltres on February 3rd. Each bird will then remain available in Max Battles at select PokéStops for a week after their initial appearance.
These five-star Max Battles offer a chance to catch these powerful Pokémon, and you might even be lucky enough to snag a Shiny version! Remember, each Legendary bird’s appearance is time-limited, so plan your battles strategically.
Beyond the legendary trio, other Pokémon will also participate in Max Battles. Charmander, Beldum, and Scorbunny will be featured from January 20th to 27th, followed by Bulbasaur, Cryogonal, and Grookey from January 27th to February 3rd. Finally, Squirtle, Krabby, and Sobble join the fray as February begins.
Don't forget to redeem your Pokémon Go codes for some extra goodies! And if you're short on Max Particles, a Max Particle Pack bundle (4,800 particles) is available in the Pokémon Go Web Store for $7.99 – essential for increasing your chances of catching these rare Dynamax Pokémon.
