Revue Starlight Re LIVE is officially shutting down. The mobile game, based on the anime series, will cease operations on September 30th, 2024, at 07:00 UTC, ending nearly six years of service.
Reasons for Closure:
While boasting a strategic battle system and impressive 3D graphics and Live2D animations, Revue Starlight Re LIVE struggled to maintain player engagement. Factors contributing to its closure include repetitive events, reused assets, expensive battle passes, and storylines deemed confusing by players. The game's closure affects global servers, including Japan.
A Final Farewell:
Despite the shutdown, players still have a few weeks to enjoy the game. Developers are launching several events in August and September, including a "Thank You For Everything" campaign offering 10 free daily pulls and a two-month birthday celebration featuring new gacha events. Download the game from the Google Play Store to experience these final events.
