FFXIV's Unbound Emote: Guide to Acquisition

Unlock the "Pose of the Unbound" Emote in FFXIV Patch 7.16!

FFXIV patch 7.16 introduces exciting new quests and cosmetic rewards. This guide focuses on obtaining the coveted "Pose of the Unbound" emote.

Obtaining the Emote:

To acquire this emote, you must complete the quest "Imposing Views." Locate the Unbound Agent NPC in Ul'dah – Steps of Thal (coordinates X:12.5, Y:11.5).

Prerequisites:

Before "Imposing Views" becomes available, you must complete "Picking Up the Torch." This requires finishing all five role quests:

Reach level 100 with a Tank, Healer, Ranged DPS, Melee DPS, and Magical Ranged DPS class.
Complete each class's respective role quest in Tulliyollal.

Once "Picking Up the Torch" is finished, "Imposing Views" will unlock in Ul'dah.

Completing "Imposing Views":

This quest is relatively simple. Travel to the Sagolii Desert, interact with Apyaahi multiple times, and defeat a few enemies. Upon completion, you'll receive the "Pose of the Unbound" emote.

Using the Emote:

To use your new emote, type either /unbound or /poseoftheunbound into the chat box and press Enter. Your character will strike a fun, Jojo-esque pose!
