Final Fantasy XIV is officially going mobile, bringing years of content to your fingertips! Developed by Tencent's Lightspeed Studios in collaboration with Square Enix, this mobile version lets you explore Eorzea anytime, anywhere.
The announcement ends months of speculation, confirming a mobile port for the critically acclaimed MMORPG. Tencent’s Lightspeed Studios will partner closely with Square Enix on development.
Final Fantasy XIV's journey is well-documented: a rocky launch in 2012 followed by a triumphant comeback with "A Realm Reborn." This mobile version, set in the beloved world of Eorzea, promises a substantial amount of content at launch.
Players can expect nine jobs at launch, with seamless switching via the Armoury system. Popular minigames like Triple Triad will also be included.

This mobile release is a significant milestone for Final Fantasy XIV, given its tumultuous history and subsequent success. The partnership with Tencent suggests a strong collaborative effort between the two companies.
While the initial content may be limited, the plan likely involves gradually adding expansions and updates over time, rather than attempting to include all existing content at once.
